Altar Policy

Living faithfully for God should be the characteristic of every child of God. We must live according to the pattern and example given by God in His Holy Word.

Ministry is not a job; it is an opportunity for each one of us to fulfill God’s purpose in our lives in the body of Christ. Our service is always for the Lord and not for men.

1 Corinthians 3:9 For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building.

Matthew 5:16 Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

Hebrews 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

Titus 2:11-12 For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. 12 It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in this present age,

1 Peter 1:15-16 But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; 16 for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.”

ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS
Attendance at all services and special events is required, including training, events, social gatherings, in-person or online devotionals, leadership meetings, and at least completing level 1 of discipleship or finishing the membership course. Acceptable reasons for absence include illness, work obligations, out-of-state travel, or special circumstances. Attendance is expected on birthdays, anniversaries, and holidays. If a member will be absent, they must contact their ministry leader immediately and also notify the pastor of their absence. If a member misses more than four times without notifying the pastor, this will be a reason for removing them from their ministry. Communication is key to the success of the work of the Lord. It is important to understand that if you have been scheduled to serve in a service and do not attend the service prior to it, we prefer that you enjoy the service and not miss two services in a row.
